Not only does Panama City offer its visitors beautiful beaches and incredible views, but it also boasts some fantastic. From seafood to hoagies, the variety of food is enough to make you forget the scantily clad bodies on the beaches for a little while, anyway.

Let's face it. Many visitors flock to Panama City Beach for a little something called Spring Break and there's just the place for this college attending, beer guzzling demographic. Harpoon Harry's is a bar dedicated to its young clientele. With its reasonably priced food, affordable drinks, and party atmosphere, this is a sanctuary for all those college students with empty mugs. Spring breakers also let loose at the Spinnaker Beach Club, where the very first MTV Spring Break broadcast took place. Since then, the Club has added a VIP lounge, a waterfall, and an award-winning restaurant, Spinnaker's Paradise Grill. The restaurant offers the freshest local seafood, great burgers, vegetarian wraps, and delicious barbecue.
But, if you're in search of the best BBQ ribs in the nation voted by the National BBQ Association, make your way over to the award-winning Pineapple Willy's. Built atop the original "Pier 99," the restaurant not only offers amazing ribs, but is also known for its famous and delicious rum "Pineapple Willy."
If you're in the mood for something a little less messy and a bit more upscale, Canopies is the place for you. This fine-dining restaurant, located in a turn-of-the-century house with a magnificent view of St. Andrews Bay, is ideal for those seeking an intimate evening. While sitting on the patio or on an enclosed veranda, indulge yourself in the decadent food, with dishes like the consistently delicious she-crab soup under a flaky croissant dome or the Lobster & Blue Crab Stuffed Chicken Breast. Red-eye gravy and cheese grits add a down home element that contributes to the comfortable atmosphere.
Looking for some adventure? Then, head over to The Treasure Ship, where the festive fun never sinks. Enjoy the fresh bounty of the sea, drink some ale, and talk like a pirate, if you please, arr! If you prefer watching sports to walking the plank, go to the Floridelphia Cheesesteak & Hoagie Factory, founded by self-proclaimed "misplaced Philly sports fans." The restaurant transports customers to the heart of Pennsylvania with its Philadelphia inspired décor and its array of cheese steaks and hoagies. Flat-screen LCD TVs host some of the most anticipated sport matches while you savor your meal or surf the web on the free wireless network.
Not a fan of Philadelphian cuisine? No problem. The Calypso Beach Café serves food inspired by the cuisine of New Orleans and the Caribbean. The Shrimp Creole is not to be missed.
Montego Bay also serves food from abroad, specifically Creole cuisine. Classic dishes such as gumbo and étouffée are reinvented here and fresh oysters are served at the raw bar. If you have more of a Mediterranean palate, Terrace Restaurant (The) will hit the spot with its upscale food at affordable prices. The Restaurant specializes in Greek cuisine, with tasty dishes that include Spanakopeta, Tiropeta, and Hummus. Wash it all down with a glass of specialty Greek wine or tapas.
