Accredited taxis are located outside the arrivals area. Rates are pre-approved by the airport management and taxis must be pre-paid at the counters in the arrival lobby.
Several car and limousine rental companies operate out of the Airport.
By Bus:
Major bus companies run daily throughout the country with regular stops in Manila. There is not a central long-distance bus station, so bus terminals are scattered around the city.
By Rail:
The Philippines have one train line that connects Manila to the Bicol region of the south. However, the train service is slow and can be dangerous.
Getting Around:
The Metro Manila Development Authority ( +63 0282 4150; http://www.mmda.gov.ph ) runs the city's public transportation system consisting of the Mass Rail Transit ( Metrorail ) and the Light Rail Transit.
