Taxi:
It is recommended that you take a taxi from the airport to your destination. Taxis are relatively inexpensive here, and those leaving from the airport, the Cooperativa de Taxis No. 34 are exempt from metered service. It is instead customary to agree on a price before you get into the cab.


Getting Around

Buses in Quito run frequently during the day and are very inexpensive.

Renting a car is not advised, as traffic congestion and difficult parking make car travel very inconvenient.

Taxis are relatively inexpensive and serve as an ideal way to get around the city.
