Highway

To reach the Central Business District, follow either the Airport Highway ( Hwy 61 ) or I-10 ( via the Airport Access Road ) west into downtown. Except for rush hours, the journey is relatively quick.

Getting Around

The city of New Orleans is serviced by Jefferson Transit ( JET ) and Regional Transit Authority ( RTA ). Buses run anywhere from every 10 to every 20 minutes, and fares around town cost USD1.25 for one ride to USD12 for a three day pass.
