Shafer Vineyard Cellars was established in 1973 and produced its first wine five years later. The rolling hills yield 16 wines including a methode champenoise sparkling variety and the ever-popular Pinot Noir. Complimentary cheese and crackers are offered with wine tastings, as well as fresh coffee. But get out here any other time of year, and you will be blown away by the lush scenery. There is also a Christmas ornament shop with great gifts for the wine lover.
