This winery's owner, Dave Levinthal, is trained in the old Burgundian tradition. The 4,000-acre vineyard, set in the country hills west of Portland, produces Dijon-cloned grapes. The winery offers superb wines as well as tremendous views of Mount Hood and the Tualatin River Valley. Taste Old World-style wines year round. Call for directions if you do not know how to get here. The roads can be confusing. Tours are available by appointment, and there are picnic facilities.
