The Home Orchard Society practices and perfects the art of cultivating fruit-bearing plants. Dwarf fruit trees are one of the specialties here. You can view different varieties of many plants, from blueberries to kiwis...or perhaps even a cross between the two. The assortment is amazing, and you will be disappointed that you cannot sample the fruit. Across from the John Innskeep Environmental Learning Center, this interesting bit of Portland provides enough educational entertainment to fill a day. No admission charge.
