Windy (and wet), Lincoln City is the ideal place for an annual kite show. Twenty thousand plus people travel to view the colorful beach parade. There is even a night show that is lighted. Awards are given to the, 'Most Original Kite' and 'Most Innovative Tail.' A great activity for all kids, the event is free. Dates often change due to weather conditions, so always call before you make the 88-mile drive south.
