First held in 1941, this grand event has been a staple of the Albany community. Last put on in 2000, the community has asked for the return of the World Championship Timber Carnival. 2008 marked the comeback with a two-day event featuring Headline Entertainment, a Mega Car Show, Lumberjack Competition, Disc Golf, Horseshoes, Softball, Family Zone, Beer Garden, Vendor Alley and a Grand Fireworks Display on both nights. Albany Timber Carnival is expected back in 2009. There's no admittance fee; donations gladly accepted.
