This festival is held in the South Park blocks, which consist of an array of emerald green grass, tall leafy trees, and artwork from statues to water fountains. The late August festival is born from the Ghanaian celebration of thankfulness and incorporates many festivities in which people dress in the ancient garb. Musical performances, dancing and activities for the whole family are available throughout the weekend. Visit the Web site or call for a schedule of events.
