Birdfest is an annual event organized by the 'Friends of The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge'. The festival blends two seemingly unrelated entities together for a weekend of music and nature rediscovery. There are bird walks through the day at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, trips to the Cathlapotle Plankhouse, and even events like Children's' Birds Bingo and Story Telling, making it a fun and informative weekend for the entire family. Venues are multiple locations citywide. The only rule: Dress for the weather!
