Just as darkness falls on the Rose City, you'll glimpse the twinkling lights of the Rose Festival Starlight Parade in downtown Portland. The second largest illuminated parade in the Northwest, this parade brings more than 300,000 visitors flocking to the streets. School bands fill the air with music and upwards of 60 highly decorated floats make their way from Northwest Broadway, winding their way to Burnside and ending up near Lincoln High School. Rain or shine, you'll find plenty of spectators, whether umbrellas are needed or not.
