Tastings, dinners, entertainment and lectures draw wine experts from across the country to this town just south of Portland. The International Pinot Noir Celebration, a three-day wine festival, is truly international. More than 50 wineries from around the world are represented. Traditionally held the last weekend of July at Linfield College, the event always requires extra planning. Tickets are sold by lottery. Call for lottery registration before January.
