The Oregon Zoo gets better during the holiday season when you can get in on some of the after-dark action. With the ZooLights Festival, the zoo lights up with thousands of Christmas lights and animated animals. Visitors enjoy music performed by local choirs and meet many costumed characters. You can even ride the decked-out zoo train or watch the model train make its rounds through the miniature tunnels and valleys. Don't miss the restaurant where you can indulge in some holiday fare.
