This sandy beachfront offers much more than mere goose bumps for the extremely hardy sunbather. Windsurfing, swimming, boating and fishing are all easily accessible, and the scenery is nothing less than spectacular. Rooster Rock State Park offers a wonderfully refreshing day trip during summer's hottest days. For some real fun, try the separate beach (clothing optional) on the east end of the park. Be sure to see the rest of the Columbia Gorge while you are out this way.
