Aspen pays homage to the season of cold and snow through festive and, at times, downright wacky behavior. During this three-day event, which incorporates all four of the ski mountains, there is an assortment of fun activities. Check out the Canine Fashion Show, the Buttermilk Uphill Race, and the always popular Ski Splash, which features skiers and boarders in costumes and various stages of dress launching themselves into a pool of water. There are also ooh-and-ahh inducing visual spectacles like the evening torch run down the mountain, fireworks, and a parade featuring the Air Force Academy Cadet Drum and Bugle Corps.
