This is a large Muslim feast and holiday, which celebrates the return of pilgrims who went to Mecca to make the Haj. It is celebrated by the slaughtering of a sheep, to remember Abraham's attempted sacrifice of his son Ishmael. As during Eid al Fitr, the marketplace gets hectic in the days before the festival, with people buying decorations, new clothes and plenty of food. During the actual days of the holiday, businesses will close down. Drawing another parallel with Eid al Fitr there are also special sunset prayer times at Al Aqsa mosque. Soak up the festive atmosphere in the parks and on the streets. Actual days of the celebration are in accordance with the tenth day of Dhul-Hijjah the last month of the Islamic calendar.
