Hawaiians are known to enjoy setting off fireworks, especially on New Year's Eve. However, for fireworks fun that does not involve lighting your own, head to this free display held at Poipu Beach Park in the southern Kauai town of Koloa. Attendees do not have to wait long after dusk for the early evening fireworks show to begin, but watch out for flying firecrackers on the way and while there.
