Bring in the new year at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront Complex with thousands of other people in a party mood. The complex is a restored historic fishing terminal, now filled with chic restaurants, bars and shopping destinations. The celebration kicks off at 10p with live music and dancing in an open-air amphitheatre, but the entire waterfront is sure to be packed with revellers eager for the night's firework production. Parking is available, but if you're planning on indulging in a few New Year's Eve toasts, seek out a water taxi or public bus to get home safely.
