As with most holidays in Spain celebrating a patron saint, the Saint Sebastian Festival goes on for an entire week and is a major event in Barcelona. Festivities include processions and singing and dancing, as well as a variety of local food vendors, artists and crafters offering local cuisine and handmade art works; many of the arts and crafts have a religious theme. Admission to all festival activities is free. Contact the Tourism Office for more information.
