Three Kings Day, a traditional gift-giving holiday in Puerto Rico, has locals island-wide bearing gifts to their loved ones in grand style. An annual event, the day is celebrated with dozens of small towns hosting their own local festivals. Celebrants enjoy live music, puppet shows, dancing, delicious traditional food, parades and a host of other means of rejoicing. The governor's mansion in Old San Juan hosts an all day gift-giving event for children. Additionally, be sure to visit the Paseo de la Princesa for children's exhibits, free souvenirs, refreshments, and beverages. Attendance is free, and celebrations typically last from morning until late in the evening.
