First Night Auckland is a community celebration, where people of all ages can ring in the New Year. There are more than 400 performers and 80 acts performing on this special night, with talent ranging from contemporary rock bands to flamenco dancing to street theatre. Held in the Aotea Centre and Aotea Square, the venues have been declared a liquor-free zone for the evening, allowing for a safe and happy environment in which families can enjoy themselves. No admission charge; bring money for food and drink.
