The Hong Kong Food Festival is a gastronomic orgy of fine wining and dining. Organized by the Hong Kong Tourist Association (HKTA), this annual event is held in August. The Festival celebrates the diversity and calibre of Hong Kong's many restaurants. Local restaurants participate in the event, vying for various culinary awards. In addition, fun-filled events such as a carnival, cooking exhibitions and culinary seminars are held.
