This is considered the biggest windsurfing event in the Philippines. Competitors come from all over Asia and from as far away as Europe and the U.S. The tournament takes place on the sea off Bolabog Beach (also spelled 'Bulabog' or 'Bulabug') where the water and wind conditions are deemed to be most favorable for windsurfing. The entry fee to the event is PHP5,000; public viewing is free. Though relatively new, the Boracay International Funboard Cup has already become very popular, awarding sails and sailing accessories to its winners.
