Fine seafood and music are the focus of this free festival on the island that is home to seven mussel farms. Mussel recipes (prepared by as many as six chefs) are accompanied by matching wines and a band, all in a marquee. There is even a Mussel Fritter King (a prize for guessing the ingredients he uses), plus a magician to entertain the children. The event is hosted by the Port Fitzroy Boating Club.
