This annual event is almost always held in sunshine. The organisers are, however, kind enough to provide a huge marquee just in case the heavens open. The flower show is a very well attended horticultural event at the beginning of the season. There are a multitude of displays, demonstrations and lectures held over the two days, with bee-keeping exhibitions (and locally produced honey for sale), photography competitions and cookery demonstrations. Admission is Adults GBP7 and GBP5 for unaccompanied children. For children under 16, the entrance is free. See "Parks and Open Spaces" section of official Bath website for yearly details.
