This May festival is your invitation to discover the local delicacies and hand-made specialities on offer at the marche de l'agneau (lamb market). A world away from city-centre chaos, the traditional market offers a unique insight into some of southwest France's regional customs. You can visit the sheepfolds or watch the sheepdog competition, the winner of which will compete in the national championships, or browse around the flea market which is arranged in an empty hayloft. Pauillac is about 60km from Bordeaux.
