The Filipinos celebrate Christmas with much fervor. In some places in Manila, the yuletide lights and decorations go up even before the end of October. Filipinos have developed their own way of celebrating Christmas, such as having a midnight repast on Christmas Eve. The primary festivities carry on for three days and they city indulges in endless number of parades and parties—complete with an abundance of rich food—make this the happiest of Manila's festivals.
