A short drive away from Niagara Falls is the quaint and rural town of Barker, where every Christmas season, the Babcock Cobblestone Museum puts out its Victorian finery for all to enjoy. The museum was built in 1848 by Jepha Babcock, the first postmaster in this section of town. This Greek Revival style homestead opens its wrought iron gates and doors every Christmas to the public. You can partake of caroling at the antique pump organ, enjoy freshly-baked cookies from the brick oven and watch knitting machine demonstrations. This is a free event for all ages.
