Feel the warmth and tradition of the holiday season during The Breakers special evening celebrations, where guests are treated to live holiday music, refreshments and beautiful Christmas decor. The Breakers is an elegant Gilded Age, 70-room mansion built for railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt II in 1893. This national historic landmark is part of the Newport preservation society's collection of 11 historic homes and is visited annually by more than 375,000 people. Admission: $25 adult ($30 at the door), $10 Children ages 6-17.
