Only 32 miles south of Manila, this is a veritable tribute to the great coconut. This celebration on January 12 is a combination of advertising the tremendous versatility of coconuts, as well as a time of thanksgiving for the prosperity it brings. Events are held throughout San Pablo City and include carnival rides and parades. One location to attend in Manila is at the Coconut Palace. This location alone is a tribute to the coconut as it is built from coconut products. Come and learn all about this Filipino tree of life, as locals call it.
