Imagine a Christmas manger display filled with cute live animals and impressive wax figures and you've pictured this lifelike creche and brilliant light display that takes place each December to January in Brussels. The elegant Grand Place is the locale for the creche, and the surrounding Hôtel de Ville and the Musee de la Ville de Bruxelles are both lit up in the spirit of the season. The event is free and all ages come out to enjoy the festive spectacle.
