At the International Handicrafts Fair, you will find a cornucopia of Cuban handicrafts. This local event has become very popular and has won the UNESCO Handicraft Prize for Arts & Crafts, as well as the Picasso Medal. It is hosted by FIART, and a specialized jury presents the FIART Award each year for best handicrafts. Held annually in December.
