Red Electric Cafe, this great restaurant, serving family-style food, was expanded in 1997, converting the too-close-for-comfort dining area into a space worthy of its traffic. Breakfast, with large city-famous omelets, includes the 'Create Your Own Omelet' with tasty fillings available. The tomato soup with pesto goes well with the grilled tomato and mozzarella sandwich. You can also order other lunch time favorites like burgers. For dinner, anyone will like the veggie platter with seared and sauteed vegetables. Heavier entrees include meatloaf and grilled chicken over couscous. There are many brews to choose from, including a delicious lemonade.
