The half-hour drive from Downtown Portland/City Center is well worth the trip to this restaurant. The menu here changes more than seasonally, but crusty bread, garlicky olive oil for dipping, and delicious desserts remain constant. Classic Italian fare in a rich and warm environment makes for a lovely evening. About 100 wines are available, most of them affordable reds. If you are not in a hurry, take scenic Lake Oswego Highway 43 to get there.
